Al-Musawwir — The Fashioner of Forms: الْمُصَوِّرُ
Meaning
The One who shapes each creature in its particular form — closing the 59:24 triad. 82:6–8 and 3:6 ("He shapes you in the wombs as He wills") unfold this name: decree (Khaliq), origination (Bari), then differentiated form (Musawwir).
Textual references
- Qur’an 59:24
The 99-names hadith itself (Sahih al-Bukhari 2736; Sahih Muslim 2677) does not enumerate the names; the enumeration order follows the Tirmidhi listing, whose chain scholars grade as weak for the list itself.
Reflection
Your particular face is a deliberate divine sentence, not a draft.
A personal contemplation aid — not doctrine and not a promised outcome.
