1. Overview and acceptance
Ibadah Path is a free website offering Islamic tools and reference material — prayer times, Qibla direction, a Tasbih counter, a Zakat calculator, the Islamic calendar, Adhkar, Daily Duas, and the 99 Names of Allah. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
There is no account to create, nothing to register, and no agreement beyond this document. Using the site does not create a customer, subscriber, or member relationship.
2. The service
Every tool on Ibadah Path runs in your browser and is provided free of charge, without advertising, without subscriptions, and without selling anything. A few features rely on third-party providers — map tiles, geocoding, and web fonts — and those parts depend on services outside our control.
The site is a devotional and informational aid. It is not a school, an authority, or a substitute for a qualified scholar, and its content should not be presented as an official religious ruling.
3. Appropriate use
- Use the site for personal, lawful purposes, and for sharing what you find with others.
- Do not interfere with the site, attempt to disrupt or overload it, or use it in a way that degrades it for other people.
- Do not use the tools to mislead anyone about prayer times, dates, Zakat obligations, or religious content.
- Do not present material from this site as an official ruling, or as being endorsed by a scholar or institution.
- Do not remove the source attributions that accompany quoted texts.
4. Religious content and informational limits
Quranic text, hadith references, supplications, and translations are provided for reading, remembrance, and study. Where a text is quoted from a classical collection, the reference is shown so you can check the original. Translations are human renderings of meaning; another translation, commentary, or school may convey the passage differently.
Nothing here is a religious verdict. For rulings that affect your worship, dealings, or obligations, consult a qualified scholar in your own community.
5. Prayer times, dates, and location features
Prayer times are calculated from astronomical formulas for the location and date you provide. Calculation conventions differ: the angles and adjustments used for Fajr and Isha, how Asr is determined, and how high-latitude cases are handled all vary between conventions and communities. Results may therefore differ from your local mosque or from another calculator by several minutes, and near the poles a value may be an estimate, which the page labels as such. Where your local community's schedule differs, follow your community.
Hijri dates shown here are derived by calculation. Local Hijri dates depend on actual moonsighting and may differ by a day or more. A calculated date is not an announcement of a religious date.
The Qibla bearing is derived from your coordinates and is not affected by the device. The compass reading you compare it against is: electronic compasses and magnetometers vary by hardware and can be disturbed by nearby magnetic fields, cases, or metal. Verify the direction before relying on it.
6. Zakat calculator
The Zakat calculator is an estimator. It applies a Nisab basis to the assets you enter and returns an indicative figure based on those entries. It does not know your full financial position — debts, liabilities, business assets, or the timing of when a year completes — and Zakat involves rules it cannot evaluate on your behalf.
Treat the result as a starting point for your own calculation, and consult a qualified scholar for anything complex. It is not financial, tax, or legal advice.
7. External services and links
Some features load data from third parties: Stadia Maps for map tiles, BigDataCloud and Open-Meteo for place lookup, and Google Fonts for typefaces. Links to other websites are provided for convenience. Those services and sites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
8. Availability and technical limits
The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. It may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued, in whole or in part, without notice. Results also depend on things outside our control: your device clock and timezone, location permission, browser behaviour, connectivity, and the third-party services listed above.
We do not promise that the site will always be available, free of errors, or accurate in every situation, and no warranty is given beyond what applicable law requires.
9. Intellectual property
The Quranic text, hadith, and other classical material presented here belong to the shared heritage of the Muslim community and are not claimed by this project. The site's own design, interface, written copy, and code are the work of Ibadah Path unless stated otherwise.
You may read, print, and share the content for personal and non-commercial use, including quoting it with its source attribution. You may not republish the site's own material as your own, or detach quoted texts from their stated sources.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ibadah Path and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of, or reliance on, this site. That includes, for example, a missed or mistimed prayer, an inaccurate calculation or estimate, reliance on a translation or a displayed reference, or data lost from your own browser storage.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
11. Changes to the service or these terms
The site and these terms may be updated. When the terms change substantively, the date at the top of this page is revised to show the current version, and continuing to use the site after that means you accept the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms do not currently designate a governing law, a court, or a dispute-resolution procedure. Ibadah Path is a free, non-commercial, account-less informational site, and no jurisdiction has been adopted for it. If a governing-law provision is added, it will be published here first, and nothing in this document removes any mandatory protection available to you where you live.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to editorial@ibadahpath.com or through the details on the Contact Us page.
These terms are a plain-language description of the service as it currently exists. They are not legal advice, and they should be reviewed by a qualified professional before being relied upon.
