Al-Mughni — The Enricher: الْمُغْنِي
Meaning
The One who frees servants from need — established via the listing; 93:8 ("He found you poor and enriched you") shows the act. Against Al-Ghaniyy (#88): independence is His state, enrichment His gift. Contentment of the soul (Bukhari 6446) is its inward form.
Textual references
No direct verse ascription for this exact name-form is established — the name is contemplated via the classical listing and related texts noted in Sources. This uncertainty is stated rather than filled.
The 99-names hadith itself (Sahih al-Bukhari 2736; Sahih Muslim 2677) does not enumerate the names; the enumeration order follows the Tirmidhi listing, whose chain scholars grade as weak for the list itself.
Reflection
Ask richness of self before richness of store; the Enricher gives both in order.
A personal contemplation aid — not doctrine and not a promised outcome.
