Al-Khaliq — The Creator: الْخَالِقُ
Meaning
The One who brings into existence by measure and decree — opening the 59:24 triad (Creator, Originator, Fashioner). 6:102 joins it to worship: "that is Allah, your Lord... so worship Him." Creation here includes both originating and determining.
Textual references
- Qur’an 59:24
The 99-names hadith itself (Sahih al-Bukhari 2736; Sahih Muslim 2677) does not enumerate the names; the enumeration order follows the Tirmidhi listing, whose chain scholars grade as weak for the list itself.
Reflection
To call Him Creator in prayer is to resign the blueprint, not just admire the building.
A personal contemplation aid — not doctrine and not a promised outcome.
